Jefferson students who are a part of our Men of Distinction program were treated to a Cleveland Cavs game recently. They attended the game with their mentors. Students in this program meet weekly with their mentor, attend outing such as this one and listen to guest speakers that come to the school. This is an ongoing program in its second year here at Jefferson, organized by our middle school counselor Mrs. Vlahos-Hall.
Each month third graders from Jefferson are visited by Harding students for a big brother/ big sister program. Students play games, talk, work on crafts, as well as complete journals about their time together. This is an ongoing program led by our elementary counselor Mrs. Goodyear in collaboration with Harding counselors. A special thank you goes out the the Harding students that dedicate their time for this wonderful program.
